Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a Procurement Lead to oversee end-to-end sourcing, supplier engagement, and acquisition planning supporting mission-critical programs at Offutt AFB, NE.

You will mentor a procurement team, coordinate workflows, and manage risk through forecasts and EACs. The role requires 8+ years in procurement/contracts, BA/BS, and a current Top Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility.

Qualifications

• Education: BA/BS
• Experience: 8+ years of related Procurement, Project Management, and/or Contracts work experience – BA/BS may substitute additional years of experience
• Required Certifications: ITIL Foundations v4 Certificate (or ability to obtain within 9 months)
• Clearance: Must have a current/active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI
• Location: Offutt AFB, NE
• Preferred Qualifications Experience leading procurement functions, managing supplier negotiations, and overseeing purchasing activities
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, pricing strategy, project management, supply chain operations, and procurement lifecycle management
• Experience with FAR, DFARS, and TAA; inventory management frameworks; contract documentation
• Familiarity with compliance requirements, auditing standards, and procurement policy enforcement
• Strong analytical and communication skills, ability to collaborate across engineering, operations, logistics, and finance teams
• Proficiency in MS Office, ServiceNow, reporting tools, and documentation workflows
• Demonstrated ability to drive cost savings, streamline processes, and improve procurement performance

Responsibilities

• Oversee sourcing strategies, supplier engagement, acquisition planning, and end-to-end procurement lifecycle
• Supervise, mentor, and task the procurement team for operational excellence and audit-ready records
• Coordinate daily procurement workflows and escalations across direct reports
• Build communications with SAO and SCMM to align procurement efforts
• Lead weekly procurement pipeline calls with staff and finance counterparts
• Establish procurement forecasts for CLIN funding levels and EACs
• Conduct quarterly reviews with the SCMM to optimize procedures and performance
• Other duties as assigned
