Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (OTS) is seeking a Procurement Senior Specialist to lead sourcing strategies for the DoD supply chain. You will evaluate suppliers, issue RFQs, and negotiate contracts to meet program requirements in a dynamic, compliance-driven environment.

Based in St. Petersburg, FL, the role requires 5–7 years of related experience or equivalent education, with strong Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with IFS software.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education & Experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes sourcing strategy, evaluates product offerings, negotiates contracts for assigned categories.
• Gathers business requirements and identifies and pre-qualifies potential suppliers.
• Develops and distributes RFPs/RFQs and collects bids or other information.
• Evaluates proposals/quotes based on quality and cost, and recommends suppliers.
• Works with selected suppliers to develop contractual agreements.
• Oversees tactical purchasing operations such as PO issuance and invoice payments.
• Ensures procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.
