Job summary

Moderna is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician for 1st shift at our Marlborough GMP facility. You will independently maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize complex equipment, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational continuity.

Working at the intersection of engineering and digital systems, you will engage with data-driven maintenance and Generative AI-enabled insights to enhance reliability and performance. This hands-on role is not remote.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical cert or associate degree preferred; min 5 years related experience.
• Site-based role; not eligible for remote work.
• US work authorization without sponsorship; no immigration sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance across GMP manufacturing systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues on critical process equipment in real time.
• Document maintenance activities in MAXIMO with accuracy and data integrity.
• Support calibration, validation, and commissioning activities for lifecycle management.
• Provide first-line technical support for production-critical systems and escalate as needed.
• Oversee and perform repairs with autonomy, prioritizing minimal disruption to operations.
