Job summary

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience in Facilities, Engineering, or Operations

Responsibilities

• Provide direct engineering support for process equipment at Norwood, MA, including a wide range of equipment and lines
• Reduce manufacturing events, user interventions, and batch record excursions by ensuring optimal functionality of equipment
• Drive results by owning and completing small to medium-sized projects with challenging timelines and support from management
• Participate in all phases of engineering projects related to processing equipment, including design, procurement, asset induction, installation, commissioning, validation, and qualification
• Respond to alarms and OOS/OOT conditions and perform product impact assessments as necessary
• Troubleshoot equipment to determine root cause and implement corrective/preventative actions and change controls
• Maintain CMMS records, calibration data, spare parts, and work orders for equipment assets
• Manage quality records such as Change Controls, Deviations, and CAPAs for manufacturing equipment
• Document instrumentation and interface updates, SOPs, and operating manuals for GMP equipment
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and support internal/external audits
• Follow GxP regulations and company policies; adhere to SOPs and data integrity practices

Education

BS or MS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
