Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Business Process Analyst Lead to drive discovery, analysis, and design of future-state operations across multiple Agile workstreams in the Washington, DC area. You will mentor analysts, lead stakeholder workshops, and ensure consistent application of BPMI methodologies.

The role requires strong experience in current- and future-state process modeling, enterprise-wide analysis, and collaboration with architects, data engineers, and project managers to support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Seven years of experience in business process analysis or modernization.
• Minimum 5 years leading teams on large-scale process improvement engagements.
• Experience leading development of current-state (As-Is) and future-state (To-Be) process models.
• Experience facilitating executive interviews, stakeholder workshops, and cross-functional sessions.
• Proficiency in BPMN, swim-lane diagrams, journey mapping, UML, IDEF, or similar methodologies.
• Strong experience documenting business requirements, functional requirements, and operational procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex business process discovery interviews, workshops, and stakeholder sessions.
• Oversee development of detailed As-Is process maps, workflows, journey maps, and dependency analyses.
• Validate process documentation for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
• Analyze business operations to identify redundancies, bottlenecks, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Synthesize findings across multiple workstreams to identify enterprise-wide patterns and trends.
• Translate business needs into implementation-ready requirements and capability recommendations.
• Develop transition strategies, sequencing approaches, and modernization recommendations.
