Job summary

Contract Safety Professionals, LLC. seeks a Senior Process Safety Engineer to support a major semiconductor manufacturing facility in Syracuse, NY.

This on-site contract role requires leadership in process safety, PSM programs, and risk assessments throughout design, construction, and commissioning. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in process safety within high-tech manufacturing, strong knowledge of PSM, OSHA 1910.119, and RBPS, with hands-on experience in hazard analyses and safety

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Process Safety, PSM, Chemical Engineering, EHS Engineering, or related experience in semiconductor manufacturing or similar.
• Strong knowledge of PSM principles and OSHA 29 CFR 1910.119 and EPA RMP requirements.
• Experience leading risk assessments (PHA/HAZOP/FMEA) and MOC processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead process safety engineering activities for semiconductor manufacturing projects.
• Review basebuild facilities, bulk/specialty gases, chemical delivery, hazardous materials, and waste systems.
• Lead PHA/HAZOP/FMEA and other risk analyses; support PSM/RBPS programs and MOC activities.
• Participate in incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
• Develop and review safety documentation (SRDs, hazard analyses) and monitor safety metrics.
