Job summary

SK hynix America is seeking a Process Safety Engineer to develop and implement a comprehensive Process Safety Management (PSM) and OSHA program onsite in Indiana. You will build data-driven risk assessment methods and a holistic health ecosystem, including on-site medical oversight.

You will lead safety system reviews, establish fabrication and risk standards, and manage permits, audits, and regulatory filings while coordinating occupational health initiatives for a safe, compliant facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health or related field.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards (29 CFR 1910).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Minimum 3 years of progressive EHS management experience with at least 1 year focused on safety systems, permitting, and design review in U.S. environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety integrity reviews and validate safety systems for reliability.
• Establish standards for equipment, facilities, risk, and safety maintenance.
• Lead risk assessment initiatives including damage prediction and action tracking.
• Manage safety permits, licenses, and regulatory filings with audit coordination.
• Develop and maintain PSM reports and 14 core elements.
• Administer occupational health programs including fitness evaluations.
• Oversee on-site occupational health clinic compliance and operations.
