Job summary

ONEOK, Inc. in the United States seeks an experienced Process Safety Engineer to support the company’s safety programs across operating assets. You will apply engineering analysis and regulatory requirements to strengthen process safety performance and drive risk-reduction initiatives.

Work with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to implement PHAs/LOPAs and MOC/PSSR activities, with location flexibility within ONEOK's footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or closely related field and related experience preferred.
• 7+ years of engineering, operations and/or project management experience.
• Experience with PHAs, LO-PAs, hazard reviews, and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced engineering support for process safety programs and risk-reduction initiatives across ONEOK assets.
• Perform analyses related to process hazards, relief, hydraulics, and piping design.
• Support PHAs, LO-PAs, hazard reviews and risk assessments; evaluate safeguards and recommend actions.
• Support MOC, PSSR, process safety information, mechanical integrity, and related activities.
• Interpret regulations and standards (OSHA PSM, EPA RMP) and company requirements.
• Develop and improve process safety standards, tools, and templates across the organization.
• Identify gaps and implement sustainable process safety improvements.
