Job summary

ONEOK is seeking an experienced Process Safety Engineer to support safety programs across its assets. Location is flexible within ONEOK's footprint, enabling collaboration with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams.

The role entails applying process safety practices, regulatory requirements, and technical guidance to strengthen safety performance while guiding capital projects and operational changes from concept through startup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or closely related field.
• Seven+ years of engineering, operations and/or project management experience.
• Experience with pipelines or hydrocarbon processing facilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Project, Access and Word.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced engineering support for process safety programs and risk-reduction initiatives across ONEOK operating assets.
• Support PHAs, LO PAs, hazard reviews and risk assessments; evaluate safeguards and recommend improvements.
• Lead or coordinate risk-based studies and investigations; communicate findings clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Develop and improve process safety standards, guidelines, tools, and templates for consistent application.
