Job summary

ONEOK is seeking an experienced process safety engineer to support its mature process safety program. The role focuses on applying engineering principles to evaluate risk, develop practical solutions, and promote consistent implementation of process safety standards across all operating assets.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or closely related field.
7+ years of engineering/operations/project management experience.
Experience with pipelines and hydrocarbon processing facilities.

Responsibilities

Provide advanced engineering support for process safety programs and risk-reduction initiatives across ONEOK assets.
Support PHAs, LO PAs, hazard reviews, and risk assessments; evaluate safeguards and recommend actions.
Lead or coordinate MOC, PSSR, process safety information, and mechanical integrity activities.
Interpret regulations and standards (OSHA PSM, EPA RMP) and align with OMS policies.
Develop and improve process safety standards, tools, and templates across the organization.
Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and nontechnical audiences.
