Job summary

ONEOK is seeking an experienced Process Safety Engineer to support the company’s process safety program. You will integrate engineering analyses, risk-based assessments, and regulatory requirements across multiple operating assets with minimal supervision.

Location is flexible within ONEOK’s footprint. You will collaborate with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to strengthen risk reduction, drive incident investigations, and promote consistent safety practices in line with OSHA PSM,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or closely related field.
• Seven+ years of experience in engineering, operations and/or project management.
• Experience with pipelines or hydrocarbon processing and related facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced engineering support for process safety programs and risk-reduction initiatives across ONEOK operating assets.
• Support PHAs, LOPEs? (LOPAs) and hazard reviews; evaluate safeguards and develop recommendations.
• Coordinate MOC, PSSR, process safety information, mechanical integrity and related activities.
• Review engineering studies, diagrams, and project deliverables for process safety considerations and quality.
• Develop process safety standards, tools, and templates for broad adoption across the organization.
• Communicate technical findings and risk information clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences.
