Job summary
ONEOK, a Fortune 500 midstream leader, seeks a safety and health professional to advance S&H improvement opportunities and implement programs meeting regulatory requirements within ONEOK's framework.
Responsibilities include researching procedures, communicating risks, conducting investigations and training, plus site inspections and IH risk assessments, to enhance safety performance across facilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in environmental, safety, and health or related fields is preferred.
- Experience composing, compiling and preparing reports and correspondence.
- Experience interacting, advising, training and communicating effectively.
- Experience developing information and making presentations.
Responsibilities
- Research and provide input into new S&H procedures and practices.
- Identify and communicate S&H risk and regulatory requirements; recommend controls.
- Provide information to stakeholders regarding proper S&H practices and represent the company as warranted.
- Facilitate investigation of safety incidents including accidents and near misses.
- Develop and deliver S&H training to employees and contractors.
- Conduct S&H job site inspections and recommend controls.
- Assess workplace IH risks (chemical, noise, radiation) or use third parties.
- Analyze, interpret and present S&H performance data to employees and management.
