Job summary

ONEOK seeks an experienced process safety engineer to strengthen safety performance across assets. You will apply engineering principles, evaluate risk, and provide guidance to operations, maintenance, and projects within ONEOK's footprint.

Location is flexible within ONEOK's footprint. The role involves leading safety studies, supporting PHAs/LOPA, and developing standards with emphasis on OSHA PSM and EPA RMP compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or closely related field.
• Seven+ years in engineering, operations or project management.
• Experience with pipelines/hydrocarbon processing and facilities design/operation/maintenance.
• Familiarity with OSHA PSM, EPA RMP, and OMS policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced process safety engineering support and risk-reduction guidance across ONEOK assets.
• Support PHAs, LOPAs, hazard reviews, and risk assessments; evaluate safeguards and recommend actions.
• Coordinate MOC, PSSR, process safety information, and mechanical integrity activities.
• Interpret regulations and standards; ensure compliance with governmental and company requirements.
• Develop, review, and improve process safety standards, guidelines, tools, and practices.
• Lead process safety projects and communicate findings to technical and nontechnical audiences.
