Job summary

Phillips 66 is seeking an Engineer III, Pipeline Risk to apply engineering judgment and risk-modeling principles to manage pipeline integrity risk. You will collaborate with Asset Integrity and data teams to deliver clear recommendations for safer operations and improved risk data usability.

Responsibilities include risk analyses, data input improvements, integration of GIS and asset data, and executive-ready risk summaries.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or a related field.
• 3 years of experience analyzing engineering, asset, inspection, reliability, integrity, or operational data.
• Experience applying structured risk-management, risk-assessment, or engineering-analysis methods.
• Experience interpreting pipeline design, construction, operating, maintenance, inspection, corrosion, and integrity information.

Responsibilities

• Perform pipeline risk analyses using the Phillips 66 Pipeline Risk Model and other applicable risk-assessment methods.
• Maintain, evaluate, and improve risk-model data inputs and related processes.
• Integrate pipeline information from PODS, CIM, GIS data, inspection records, and more.
• Validate risk-model data, identify data gaps, and collaborate with data owners to resolve issues.
• Evaluate preventive and mitigative measures and provide risk results and recommendations.
• Develop and update risk worksheets, dashboards, and other technical deliverables, and respond to ad hoc requests.
