Job summary

Medtronic in Tempe is seeking a Principal Engineer to drive integration of microelectronic assembly processes from development through manufacturing release. You will lead process flows, design rules for PCB assembly, and coordinate validation activities to ensure compliant, robust solutions.

In this onsite role, you will apply DRM, DOE and statistical methods to solve yield issues, with strong collaboration across product development and process teams.

Qualifications

• Requires a Baccalaureate degree and minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or higher degrees with applicable experience.
• Experience leading DRM-based process development and transfer to manufacturing.
• Knowledge of DOE, statistical analysis methods, and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the innovation, development and/or optimization of new manufacturing concepts and processes for transfer to manufacturing operations.
• Champion DRM and data-driven methods through process development.
• Define robust process flows for new products with process owners.
