Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an Experienced Process Integration Engineer to join the PIE team, owning product integrity from design to qualification and collaborating with Process, DFM, Test, and Customer teams to drive yield and reliability.

The role emphasizes data mining, yield analysis, and advanced diagnostics, with strong scripting skills in Python/C/Java and a base salary of $95k–$120k per year plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Data mining and statistical analysis across diverse data sources.
• Yield analysis mapping wafer sort/bin to test results and in-line SPC data.
• Advanced diagnostics to drive failure mode understanding and process controls.
• Participation in NPI and technology bring-up for mass production.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve yield targets.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Process, DFM, Test, Device, QnR, Mfg and Customer teams to ensure manufacturability.
• Provide silicon analysis to model yield and identify process variations.
• Identify trends and implement mitigation strategies for yield and defects.
• Monitor mass-production performance and drive yield to entitlement targets.
• Create and present executive and customer-facing presentations.
