Job summary

Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey is seeking a seasoned Process Improvement professional to lead cost-reduction initiatives across the enterprise. The role will mentor Lean and Green Belt staff, develop ROI-based business cases, and partner with Finance to track project metrics and deliver substantial benefits.

The incumbent will manage cross-functional projects, drive change, and ensure deployment of best practices across divisions while advancing the BPI brand and capabilities

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years business process improvement or process redesign experience.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification with commitment to achieve Black Belt within two years.
• Proven project management and process improvement skills including lean and Six Sigma.
• Experience with Minitab or other statistical software.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).

Responsibilities

• Lead complex process improvement projects with supervision.
• Draft and review deliverables and analyses (value‑stream mapping, statistics).
• Mentor Lean and Green Belt candidates to certification.
• Develop business cases using ROI models and track performance metrics.
• Partner with Finance to deliver significant operational and financial benefits.
