Job summary
Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey seeks a Sr. Process Design Specialist I to lead cross-functional process improvement projects, develop business cases, and mentor staff pursuing Lean and Green Belt certifications.
You will partner with finance to track metrics and influence stakeholders across divisions. Responsibilities include overseeing data collection, drafting deliverables such as value-stream maps, and ensuring adoption of standard solutions nationwide.
Qualifications
- Requires minimum 5 years business process improvement or process redesign experience.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification plus commitment to Horizon Black Belt within two years of hire.
- Healthcare industry experience preferred.
- Experience with change management challenges in process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex process improvement initiatives with supervision.
- Draft and review analyses including value-stream mapping and ROI models.
- Coach Lean and Green Belt candidates to certification.
- Develop and share best practices among process improvement coaches and clients.
- Partner with Finance to develop and track project metrics.
