Mercedes-Benz USA seeks a PDC Process Improvement Engineer to enhance end-to-end material flow, design efficient layouts, and lead continuous improvement initiatives at the Parts Distribution Center (PDC). The role reports to Home Office and requires alignment with Home Office and PDC expectations on culture, communication and business topics.

Responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams, designing storage layouts, managing Lean programs, supporting EHS, and driving productivity

Qualifications

• Ability to build relationships and influence across the organization.
• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering.
• Lean or Six Sigma Black Belt (Lean preferred).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
• 5–7 years of experience in warehouse processes and related tools (AutoCAD/SolidWorks, MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Leads cross-functional teams to identify and eliminate inefficiencies in layout, process and material flow.
• Designs storage locations to maximize space and reduce labor and handling costs.
• Manages Lean initiatives across Home Office and PDC networks.
• Supports EHS initiatives by addressing non-compliant processes.
• Collaborates with leadership to standardize processes and drive improvements across the network.
