Job summary

Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC is seeking a Process Improvement Advisor to lead end-to-end supply chain enhancements at the Texas Grapevine PDC. You will guide Lean initiatives, optimize material flow, and design efficient layouts while coordinating with Home Office and PDC teams.

The role requires a strong background in Industrial & Systems Engineering, Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt, and 5–7 years in related warehousing processes, with proficiency in AutoCAD/SolidWorks and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Build relationships across the organization and influence decisions.
• Bachelor's degree as required: Industrial & Systems Engineering.
• Lean or Six Sigma Black Belt (Lean preferred); PMP preferred.
• 5–7 years of experience with AutoCAD/SolidWorks, MS Office suite, and warehouse processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies in layout, process, and material flow for cost-effective design.
• Design storage locations to maximize space and reduce labor and handling costs.
• Manage Lean initiatives across Home Office and PDC Network including training and knowledge transfer.
• Support EHS initiatives by identifying non-compliant processes within the PDC.
• Collaborate with leadership to standardize processes and improve end-to-end supply chain efficiency.
• Represent PDC in liaising for site infrastructure, storage configurations, and IT integration projects.
• Develop recommendations for productivity targets using labor data and present findings to leadership.
• Lead large-scale strategic projects through initiation, planning, execution, and closure.
• Support future-state systems landscape and optimization of North American logistics footprint.
• Calculate cycle time and standard work to improve daily labor planning tools.
