Job summary

Mercedes-Benz USA is seeking a PDC Process Improvement Engineer for the Parts Distribution Center in Grapevine, TX. You will lead end-to-end material flow improvements, design layouts to maximize space, optimize WMS configurations, and drive Lean initiatives across Home Office and PDC networks.

The role requires a BS in Industrial and Systems Engineering, 5–7 years of experience with AutoCAD/SolidWorks and MS Office, knowledge of warehouse processes, and certifications such as Lean Six Sigma

Qualifications

• Must have ability to build relationships and influence across the organization.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Leads cross-functional teams to eliminate inefficiencies in layout, process and material flow.
• Designs storage layouts to maximize space in the PDC and optimize WMS configurations.
• Project manages Lean initiatives across Home Office and PDC networks; trains and transitions knowledge.
