Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Senior Process Industrial Engineer to contribute to operations in Queenstown. This hybrid role balances on-site process observation with remote data analysis and strategic planning to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall quality.

You will lead improvement projects, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with operations, quality, and maintenance to implement Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, supported by SPC and process simulation tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in process engineering or manufacturing operations.
• Strong Lean/Six Sigma experience and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis and redesign of manufacturing processes to improve throughput.
• Implement Lean and Six Sigma projects to drive excellence.
• Develop process documentation, SOPs, and training materials.
• Use data analytics and SPC to identify trends and opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide improvement initiatives.
