Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services in Saint Petersburg, FL, seeks a Process Improvement Engineer to implement new technology, develop process improvements, standards, lifecycle management and validation within select process areas. The role is part of the local Process Improvement Engineering Team.

You will drive automation and new technologies in cooperation with engineering and QA teams and support capital investments while addressing complex assignments for efficient production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or scientific field required.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar manufacturing process/engineering role.
• Experience in project management preferred.
• Experience in polymer chemistry or rubber chemistry preferred.
• Experience in compression or injection molding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvements in quality, service, HSE and cost within approved processes.
• Support automation and new technologies across engineering and QA teams and plants.
• Manage change requests and ensure compliance with procedures, risk assessments and FMEA.
• Coordinate with facilities and other departments to maximise achievements in a collaborative environment.
