Job summary

Linde Advanced Material Technologies in Indianapolis is seeking a Senior Process Project Engineer to lead the specification, procurement, installation, commissioning and startup of process equipment for specialty ceramics and powder manufacturing.

You will develop technical requirements and equipment specs for mixing, spray drying, calcining, milling, blending, screening, handling, dust collection and packaging systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business Management, or a related discipline required.
• Proven project management experience delivering large-scale capital projects (> $10M).
• Strong budgeting and scheduling acumen; PMP/PE/LSS credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead specification, procurement, installation, commissioning and startup of process equipment.
• Develop technical requirements and equipment specifications for solution mixing, spray drying, calcining, milling, blending, screening, material handling, dust collection and packaging.
• Manage equipment packages through engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning and validation.
• Create project schedules and forecasts using Microsoft Project and align with budget and milestones.
• Review process layouts and facility integration drawings with AutoCAD; evaluate suppliers and bids.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, safety, quality and suppliers to drive project success.
• Define utility requirements, P&IDs, control narratives and production readiness activities; travel ~10% domestic/international.
