Job summary

Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc. in Indianapolis, IN, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead capital and operational projects, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, and quality targets are met.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams across operations, engineering, contractors, and suppliers, while driving deadlines and value. You will manage budgets, review invoices, and ensure alignment with estimates, performing site visits for safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business Management, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of project management experience delivering projects in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Experience with large-scale capital projects, including budgets of $10M+.
• Strong financial and scheduling acumen; able to develop estimates and manage budgets.
• Proficient with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, and AutoCAD.
• Professional credentials preferred (PMP, P.E., Lean/Six Sigma, or advanced degrees).
• Travel approx. 10% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of capital and operational projects; ensure scope, schedule, cost, and quality targets.
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams with operations, engineering, contractors, and suppliers.
• Manage project schedules, identify risks, resolve issues, and mitigate delays.
• Oversee project budgets, track costs, review invoices, and ensure alignment with estimates.
• Perform site visits and inspections for safety, quality, and engineering conformance.
• Prepare and manage technical documentation (drawings, contracts, change orders, progress reports).
• Provide technical leadership; support equipment selection, process verification, testing and validation.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards; align with company policies.
• Use project management tools such as Microsoft Project to plan, organize, track, and report on execution.
• Deliver projects that enable operational excellence, capacity growth, reliability, and long-term business performance.
