Job summary

Magna Engineered Glass seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to drive process development and start-up for new programs. You will lead process improvements, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure cost-effective manufacturing solutions while upholding safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include creating work instructions, validating equipment needs, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the plant. Strong GD&T and CAD skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or 3–5 years related experience.
• Experience creating Manufacturing Process Prints, Standard Work Instructions, and Job Element Sheets.
• Automotive engineering background with machining and welding experience.
• Proficient in GD&T and CAD tools (AutoCAD).
• Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop process flows and manufacturing operations for new part quotes.
• Lead PFMEA with cross-functional teams.
• Specify and source new equipment; manage rollout to the production floor.
• Create Standardized Work and related documentation for new processes.
• Coordinate manufacturing projects as primary contact and support CI initiatives.
