Job summary

Corning Inc. is seeking a Process Engineering Manager to lead the Division Engineering Process Engineering team and advance process technology across CET through robust manufacturing solutions.

You will set the process engineering strategy, drive the technology roadmap, lead cross-functional programs from concept to manufacturing, and deliver measurable improvements in safety, quality, cost, and capacity while coaching talent and aligning resources globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 10 years in manufacturing, development or engineering with leadership.
• Advanced degree preferred and PMP certification a plus.
• Demonstrated results delivering step-change innovations in manufacturing.
• Experience with DOE, process control, and Six Sigma methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the Process Engineering team, building technical capability.
• Set and execute the process engineering strategy and technology roadmap.
• Advance manufacturing technologies, processes, equipment, and methods.
• Lead cross-functional programs from concept to manufacturing start-up and sustainment.
• Deliver improvements in safety, quality, cost, capacity, and process control.
• Align resources across manufacturing, development, modeling, and suppliers globally.
• Act as technical leader, applying sound engineering judgment and managing risk.
