Job summary

Corning seeks a Process Engineer III in manufacturing to develop, optimize, and maintain high-quality production processes. You will work with cross-functional teams to solve technical problems and advance manufacturing efficiency.

You will drive continuous improvements, cost reductions, and new technology implementations while maintaining robust process understanding and strong communication with operators and leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving; facilitate problem-solving teams and drive solutions.
• Able to handle multiple complex tasks and prioritize with internal customers.
• Understanding of Process Control and Discipline; know when SOP applies or requires escalation.
• Lays out systematic data retrieval and analysis to reduce process variability.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to line, department, and plant performance through production and process development involvement.
• Uses DOE and statistics to solve process issues and improve manufacturing performance.
• Analyzes process data to support monitoring, troubleshooting, and improvements.
• Leads changes through change-control processes and maintains updated standards.
