Job summary

You will work with customers and internal teams to identify opportunities for process and product enhancements, while guiding project schedules and strategic initiatives. This full-time role offers growth in a leadership capacity within Hazelett's metals processing technology portfolio.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of industrial manufacturing processes and process improvement methodologies.
• Experience with metal processing, continuous casting, or related equipment is desirable.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a technical team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with customers and internal teams.
• Ability to prepare technical proposals, scopes of work, and project schedules.
• Minimum of a B.S. in Engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support a team of Process Engineers, including regular check-ins and career development.
• Provide technical resource for customers, address questions, troubleshoot issues and maintain relationships.
• Partner with sales to respond to inquiries, quotations, scopes of work, and project schedules.
• Support development initiatives for caster upgrades and process improvements.
• Investigate issues, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain department planning tools, budgets, and travel planning.
