Job summary

Leonardo DRS in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead development, integration, and sustaining activities for infrared wafer-level vacuum packaging. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field with 5+ years of applicable experience.
• Able to work in a Class 100 Clean Room for extended periods.
• Knowledge of solvent cleaning and wet etch practices.
• Experience with hermetic microelectronics packaging.
• Experience with SPC and statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate new product introduction or process development projects both internally and externally.
• Provide timely status updates on all project milestones to stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems, and implement corrective actions (RCCA) as needed.
• Monitor and report on process or product yields, trends, and test results.
• Specify and evaluate supplier components, subsystems and services.
• Stand up processes for product development and production.
• Design, develop, analyze, document and support testing of products and equipment, and sustaining activities for fabrication and packaging operations.
• Evaluate and recommend design approaches to meet production requirements for new or improved products or processes.
