Job summary

Raytheon in Goleta, CA is seeking a Process Engineer with a background in supporting Vacuum Dewar Fabrication. This role focuses on processes to manufacture Infrared Vacuum Dewars in high vacuum, RGA, leak check, and HV integrity, working in an ISO 5 clean room.

You will collaborate with technicians and engineers, manage process development and improvements, review work-in-progress, certify operators, perform processing tests and failure analyses, and apply SPC/DOE methods.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Process, Chemical and/or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Ability to work in an ISO Class 5 clean room environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate in a cleanroom using high vacuum tech and bonding equipment.
• Follow chemical safety data and PPE protocols.
• Develop and present findings to stakeholders.
• Work with SPC and DOE/ANOVA for process optimization.
