Jobot is seeking a hands-on Chemical Process Engineer to lead process improvements, equipment startups, and capital projects in an industrial manufacturing environment. This role works closely with operations, maintenance, and technical teams to move projects from development and testing through installation, commissioning, and stable production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Experience managing engineering projects from concept through implementation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with production, maintenance, laboratory, and leadership teams.
• Willingness to work hands-on in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering projects, including scope, budgets, schedules, equipment selection, installation, and startup.
• Support pilot testing, process scale-up, and commissioning of new equipment and production processes.
• Troubleshoot process issues and improve throughput, quality, yield, reliability, and operating costs.
• Develop operating procedures, startup plans, and technical documentation.
• Improve plant layout, material flow, and workplace organization through Lean and 5S practices.
• Partner with safety and environmental teams on process risk assessments, Management of Change, and regulatory compliance.
