Job summary

Solstice Advanced Materials is seeking a Process Engineer III to provide technical expertise in a 24/7 manufacturing facility, focusing on safety, quality, yields, and cost reductions while scaling up new Spectra products from prototype to market.

The role drives continuous improvement, collaborates with operations to troubleshoot processes, and leads MOC reviews and KPI-driven initiatives to enhance OEE and process reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in process, production and/or manufacturing engineering within chemical, petroleum and/or polymer environments.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and make technical decisions with minimal supervision.
• Experience leading MOCs, RCAs and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Become a process expert to provide site support for operational issues and challenges.
• Provide off-hours support for abnormal and non-routine operations, including unit turnarounds.
• Understand process models, heat and material balances, P&IDs, layout, and basic control schemes.
• Oversee production to meet targets and track OEE and MTBF.
• Own and lead Management of Change (MOC) reviews.
• Lead productivity projects yielding reductions in defects and costs.
