Job summary

Hunt Consolidated is seeking an Operations Support professional to monitor day-to-day processes, troubleshoot issues, and drive improvements across refining units. You will track operational data trends, work with maintenance on startups, and help optimize energy use while supporting management objectives.

The role requires a chemical engineering degree and 3–6 years of relevant experience, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• BS in chemical engineering from a four-year college or university.
• 3–6 years related experience in refining, chemical or related industry.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform process monitoring on day-to-day operations.
• Identify and troubleshoot process limitations and lead in resolution.
• Follow trends in operational data and identify potential problems early.
• Assist Operations in startup/shutdown and maintenance preparations.
• Reduce costs through energy conservation and unit optimization.
• Advise management on operational changes to achieve goals.
• Perform PSM functions including HAZOP participation and MOC prep.
• Assist in development of unit and system procedures.
• Provide training support for processes.
