Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Process Engineer to support our Manufacturing Plant Rocket Motor processes at Bacchus, working in the Process Engineering group with responsibilities in the Controls/Process Support. Designs manufacturing processes for highly energetic, static sensitive, corrosive and chemical processes while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or computer science field; 2 years of experience or 0 years with a Masters
• Strong desire to work with control processes and field manufacturing
• Demonstrate exceptional written communication skills
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance

Responsibilities

• Field support for Manufacturing processes (process, tooling, equipment)
• Design and specification review and updating
• Operating procedure writing, review and updates
• Prepare and present to OSCB/PPCB (Safety reviews)
• Update and review of statistical process control charts
• Prepare for and present to Capital Appropriations Board (CAB) for funding
