Job summary
Northrop Grumman is seeking a Process Engineer to support our Rocket Motor manufacturing processes at Bacchus, joining the Process Engineering group to design safe, efficient manufacturing layouts and qualification/change management. The role emphasizes safety interlocks, regulatory compliance (DOD4145.26 ATF), and continuous process improvements with cross-functional collaboration.
The engineer will work on process control systems, troubleshooting, software enhancements, and Rockwell PLC
Qualifications
- Strong desire to work with control processes.
- Exceptional written communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Field support for manufacturing processes (process, tooling, equipment).
- Design and specification review and updating.
- Operating procedure writing, review and updates.
- Prepare and present to OSCB/PPCB (Safety reviews).
- Update and review of statistical process control charts.
- Prepare for and submit Maintenance Work Orders.
