Job summary

BW Design Group in Raleigh, NC seeks a Sr. Process Engineer to lead and execute pharmaceutical and biologics process system projects. You will collaborate with our Architecture/Engineering Process Practice, guide CAD designers, and work with clients to deliver compliant, scalable solutions.

You’ll design CIP/SIP systems, WFI/RODI water networks, and DS/valves, develop PFDs and P&IDs, perform energy and mass balances, and support validation, start‑up, and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Bio Engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of pharma/biologics process engineering experience.
• Knowledge of CIP/SIP, WFI/RODI systems.
• Experience with FDA/EMA regulatory standards.
• Strong communication and collaboration with clients.

Responsibilities

• Support capital projects and implement client solutions.
• Lead multi-discipline project teams in A&E settings.
• Develop PFDs, energy/mass balances, equipment specs.
• Prepare P&IDs and construction documents.
• Interface with OEMs/vendors and guide CAD designers.
• Provide onsite support during testing, start-up, and qualification.
