Job summary

Momentive is seeking a Process Engineer to manage production area performance, resolve daily issues, and drive continuous improvements. The role requires on-site presence five days a week and collaboration across cross-functional teams to support transfer of Process Technology and new product introductions.

Responsibilities include safety, quality, reliability, and productivity targets, with involvement in CapEx and improvement initiatives, audits, and change control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or equivalent required.
• At least 6 years of technical/engineering experience.
• Strong safety consciousness and EHS awareness in chemical process environments.
• Excellent problem solving, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate as area lead ensuring compliance with EHS regulations and site safety.
• Ensure on-schedule, quality-oriented manufacture and optimize production planning with SIOP.
• Lead quality investigations and manage non-conformance reports.
• Perform root cause analysis and close out unplanned events from EHS/quality perspectives.
• Develop and train operations staff on SOPs and process technology fundamentals.
