Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Rocket Center, WV facility. The role designs and plans layouts for processes such as hardening, washing, laminating, etching, engraving, polishing, painting, plating and other material-processing operations, applying judgment to optimize methods and operator comfort.

It is an onsite position at the ABL facility in Rocket Center with no remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent STEM degree plus 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to interpret 2D drawings.
• US Citizenship required for clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing processes, work instructions and production layouts required to fabricate the product.
• Identify process improvements and incorporate changes into the manufacturing process.
• Respond to design and specification changes by updating the manufacturing process.
• Assist in establishing safety requirements for facilities and equipment.
