Gates Corporation in Siloam Springs, AR seeks a Process Engineer to guide manufacturing value streams, reduce defects, and implement innovative improvements. You will work with maintenance, engineering, and management to drive cost reductions and reliability.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, data analytics, and deployment of lean and Six Sigma methodologies across plant processes to enhance performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience with rubber or plastic products is desirable.
• 5–8 years in manufacturing problem-solving and process improvement.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive CI projects.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Knowledge of APQP/PPAP, Gage R&R, Process Capability, and Manufacturing Feasibility Studies.
• Familiarity with quality tools like PFDs, PFMEA, PCP, and Process Control Plans.
• Understanding of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and project management methods.
• Skill with time and motion studies, capacity evaluations, and CAD design.
• Experience with data-driven problem solving and KPI development.

Responsabilidades

• Lead scrap reduction initiatives for assigned value streams.
• Drive cost reduction efforts within designated value streams.
• Serve as SME for assigned processes in the plant.
• Plan and present data collection for defect reduction and CI initiatives.
• Support maintenance with trouble-shooting and diagnostics of equipment.
• Develop upgrade plans to improve performance and reliability.
• Contribute to work standards, control charts, and OE tools.
