Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead design of industrial water and wastewater treatment systems for diverse clients worldwide. You will supervise junior engineers and develop technical evaluations, PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment specifications across sectors such as power, mining, and technology.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Minimum of 11 years related work experience.
• All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search).
• Certification: Professional Engineer registration or licensure, or willingness/ability to pursue such registration.

Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering design of water and wastewater treatment and delivery systems.
• Prepares PFDs, Water Balances, MSDs, P&IDs, Equipment Datasheets and Specifications.
• Perform complex research and develop equipment/materials recommendations; oversee design, procurement, and commissioning support.
• Manage budget, schedule, and quality requirements for projects.
• Plan and adapt engineering techniques and criteria; review junior engineers’ work; lead smaller teams.
