Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead assembly design and process development for high-speed interconnects. You will influence manufacturability, drive efficiency and cost improvements, and work on tooling, automation and prototype builds.

Responsibilities include developing assembly processes, coordinating with suppliers, creating DFMs/FMEAs, and ensuring safety and reliability across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 5+ years experience in connectors.
• Ability to read technical drawings, procedures and reports.
• Experience with automation, tooling and process controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop assembly concepts, design and deploy tooling and automation.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers on prototypes and pilot production.
• Balance assembly processes for manual and automated lines.
• Document processes, spare parts lists and maintenance plans.
• Define process steps, parameters and DFMs/FMEAs with the team.
• Evaluate safety and health considerations in processes.
