Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks a Process Engineer to join the HSIO Connector Engineering team in Valley Green, PA. You will manage process controls, develop automated assembly methods, perform PFMEA, DOE studies and support cost, capacity and quality improvements across high-speed interconnect products.

The role requires a BS in Electro-mechanical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering and hands-on experience in CAD-driven tooling, DFMs, and process

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electro-mechanical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering required.
  • 2+ years of current experience in a process engineering role.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and procedures.
  • Ability to write reports and procedure manuals.
  • Experience with CAD software and tooling development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement assembly processes to meet cost, delivery, and capacity needs.
  • Develop automated processes and lead LEAN/DFM initiatives (SMED, TPM).
  • Prepare PFMEA, Process Qualification Plans, Control Plans, and DOE studies.
  • Define and procure process equipment, fixtures, and tooling.
  • Coordinate with vendors for prototype samples and equipment.
  • Support capacity planning, time studies, and line balancing.
