Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 5+ years of related experience, preferred.
• Knowledge of progressive stamping, lead-frame processes, molding, and assembly.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and procedures; write reports and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Develop assembly concepts and write scope of work documents for tooling and automation.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers on prototypes, pilot production, and deployment of automation.
• Integrate product design with assembly processes, manual or automated, considering upstream effects.
• Develop and document assembly processes, spare parts lists, and maintenance plans.
• Prepare equipment specs and support cost justification for tooling acquisitions.
• Work with IE teams to model cycle times, efficiencies and yields, including line balance.
