Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace seeks a process improvement engineer to lead manufacturing enhancements across die attach, wire bonding, epoxy, and PWB SMT. You will run DOE experiments, analyze data, and apply statistical controls to boost quality and throughput.

Responsibilities include training operators, documenting work instructions, tracking metrics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to close improvement projects while maintaining the ability to obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering required; mechanical/aerospace/material science or equivalent.
• 5+ years manufacturing experience or proven process improvement.
• Ability to multitask and bring projects to closure.
• Interest in process problems and improvements in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily production support; evaluate defects and troubleshoot machines.
• Train operators and document key process steps.
• Support eutectic die attach, wire bonding, epoxy attach, gap welding and PWB SMT processes.
• Improve processes using data-driven analysis and process controls.
• Track metrics and set up systems for continual quality improvements.
• Improve factory layout to boost throughput and quality.
• Lead process improvement projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Analyze data for process trends and opportunities; implement enhancements.
