Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Minneapolis, MN seeks a Process Engineer to provide manufacturing process support and perform data analysis to improve yield and product performance. You will apply Lean, Six Sigma, and CAMP methodologies to optimize manufacturing and assembly processes, support new product development, and maintain efficient product flow through test equipment and maintenance plans.

The role reports to the Engineering Manager and requires on-site work with a focus on improving process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is required.
• 2+ years of experience in an Engineering discipline or an advanced degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide manufacturing process support for the mirror fabrication area.
• Perform yield and performance data analysis to monitor process capability and drive yield improvements.
• Utilize CAMP, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies to govern engineering standard work practices.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues; facilitate issue identification and analysis.
• Develop improvements in manufacturing and assembly processes for cost and cycle time reductions.
• Assist in the development of new products.
• Support knowledge transfer for test equipment and preventative maintenance plans to maintain factory capacity and efficient product flow.
• Facilitate a self-driven workforce culture to achieve RTY, BIQ, COPQ, and other SQDIC goals.
• Test products and software.
