Job summary
Honeywell Aerospace in Rocky Mount, NC is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer II to optimize production processes, drive continuous improvement, and implement advanced manufacturing technologies. You will own process capability for critical assemblies and provide daily floor support to ensure adherence and seamless handoffs across shifts.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 2+ years of experience in advanced manufacturing engineering, with strong data analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
- 2+ years in advanced manufacturing engineering or similar.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing principles.
- Experience with data analysis and SPC to drive improvements.
- Proficiency with automation, robotics, and additive manufacturing is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to adopt advanced manufacturing technologies.
- Ensure safety regulations and industry standards are met.
- Own process capability and control for critical assemblies (LVDTs, Solenoids).
- Provide daily floor support to ensure process adherence and stable handoffs across shifts.
- Analyze production data to identify issues and lead RCCA and corrective actions.
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, APQP tools to prevent defects and reduce variation.
- Lead capacity improvement projects aligned to rate readiness and safety.
