Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Senior Process Project Engineer in Rockland, MA to manage capital projects and provide hands-on process engineering support for manufacturing operations. You will drive continuous improvement, optimize workflows, and ensure safety and quality across projects.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of experience in chemical process environments, strong P&ID skills, and experience with equipment sizing, RFQs, and contractor oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Chemical Engineering is required.
• 5-7 years of combined project and process engineering experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Experience cradle-to-grave capital projects from $50K to $5M+ and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects from initial concept through commissioning and final documentation.
• Analyze workflows to identify bottlenecks and drive safety, quality and efficiency improvements.
• Read, interpret, and modify P&IDs; size and specify process equipment; develop RFQ packages.
• Vet, select, and manage on-site contractors; ensure safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with maintenance and reliability teams to ensure smooth handover and SOP development.
