Job summary

The Senior Process Engineer is a hands-on manufacturing engineering role and senior technical leader responsible for improving stability, throughput, yield, quality, and cost performance of Bakersfield processing systems. You will work with Operations, Maintenance, Quality/Food Safety, Engineering, Continuous Improvement, and OEM resources to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

This role requires translating process needs into effective automation and control solutions,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Engineering, Process Engineering, or related technical field.
• Minimum 7 years of process/manufacturing engineering experience in highly automated environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily floor-level technical support for beverage processing systems (thermal, aseptic, blending, transfer, homogenization, CIP).
• Lead root-cause analysis of downtime, instability, and startup losses; drive corrective actions with verification and documentation.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, process specifications, centerlines, and troubleshooting trees; ensure changes meet food-safety standards.
