Job summary

Generous Brands seeks a Senior Process Engineer to lead manufacturing improvements at our Bakersfield facility. You will partner with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering to improve stability, throughput, yield, and cost performance across processing systems.

You will translate process needs into automation and control solutions, working with a Controls Engineer to develop requirements, troubleshoot PLC/HMI, and verify that improvements deliver measurable results.

Qualifications

Strong working knowledge of sanitary liquid processing, including piping, CIP, heat exchangers, and instrumentation.
Demonstrated ability to solve recurring manufacturing process problems and drive improvements.
Ability to read P&IDs, process trends, and control logic to diagnose process-control interactions.
Experience partnering with Controls/Automation personnel on PLC/HMI changes.

Responsibilities

Provide daily floor-level technical support for beverage processing systems (thermal, aseptic, blending, CIP).
Lead root-cause analysis of downtime and process variability; drive corrective actions with verifiable results.
Analyze OEE, downtime, throughput, and product losses to set improvement priorities.
Develop process flow diagrams, control narratives, and operating standards.
Collaborate with Controls/Automation to implement programming changes and validate results.
